Terms and Conditions & Cancellation Policy 2022
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Your dog can only be accepted by Go Walkies Bolton if it is in good health, and you are able to produce a certificate confirming your dog’s vaccinations are up to date. The client agrees to take any necessary measures or precautions to ensure that their dog is continuously free of contagious, infectious, or otherwise communicable diseases. The Client further agrees to notify Go Walkies Bolton immediately of any infectious and/or contagious diseases or conditions their dog has been exposed to or affected by. No dog will be accepted unless it has been vaccinated against distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, and parvo virus (annual booster). Primary vaccination courses must be completed a minimum of 2 weeks prior to attending Go Walkies Bolton. The Client accepts that even though their dog is vaccinated against Bordetella (Kennel Cough) there is a chance that their dog can still contract Kennel Cough. Should the dog contract Kennel Cough whilst with us, Go Walkies Bolton cannot be held liable.
2. Go Walkies Bolton reserves the right to refuse admission if the Client fails to provide adequate proof of vaccinations (including Bordetella), or the vaccinations are found to have expired or otherwise incomplete.
3. Any current and ongoing problems with a dog’s health or temperament must be notified to us at the time of booking. We reserve the right to refuse any dog that we consider to be of an unreliable temperament or sick.
4. All dogs will be subject to an initial assessment by Go Walkies Bolton prior to using our services. Go Walkies Bolton reserves the right to refuse admission to any dog deemed in their absolute discretion to be, or have the potential to be, dangerous or disruptive.
5. Whilst every possible attention is given to each dog while attending Go Walkies Bolton, each dog is in our care entirely at the owner’s risk. Should we feel the need to separate them in the interests of the dog’s own safety, a relevant charge could be levied.
6. All dogs in our care must wear a collar/harness displaying an ID with the owner’s name and address. The owner’s details can be inscribed on the collar itself or on a tag attached to the collar/harness. This is in accordance with the Control of Dogs Order 1992. Even if the dog is microchipped, they still need to wear a collar or tag. Exemptions apply for some working dogs.
7. Go Walkies Bolton offer services where dogs co-mingle in groups and the Client accepts that during normal dog play their dog may sustain injuries. All dog play is carefully monitored to avoid injury, but scratches, punctures, torn ligaments, or other injuries may occur despite the best supervision.
8. Go Walkies Bolton will only let dogs off the lead once an ‘off the lead consent’ has been signed and will remain at the discretion of Go Walkies Bolton.
9. Go Walkies Bolton will apply personal judgment and cut short a walk, if necessary, because of extreme weather conditions (i.e., heat, thunderstorms) for the safety of both the dogs and the walker.
10. The Client agrees that Go Walkies Bolton is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged leads, collars, tags, clothing, beds, or any other item left with their dog.
11. Should it be necessary for your dog to be seen by a vet for any pre-existing health conditions, all veterinary fees incurred are the responsibility of the owner and must be paid at the time or on collection of the dog (to be decided by Go Walkies Bolton) and a fee for transportation to the vets will be levied. Any required veterinary treatment will be carried out by our designated vet (Animal Trust Bolton) and may not be from your dog’s usual veterinary practice. All dogs should have been treated for worms and fleas recently. Should any dog require treatment for internal and external parasites (fleas, worms, etc.) then a charge will be levied for this. In the event we need to take your dog to the vets you give your consent for us to share your personal information you have given to us with the vets. If we are required to administer medication prescribed from the vet, you give your consent for us to do this.
12. Should your dog be collected before the booked departure date/time the full length of booking will still be charged.
13. Please note all dogs are insured whilst in our care EXCLUDING veterinary fees and/or death in connection with any condition that exists prior to attending Go Walkies Bolton.
14. We reserve the right to rehome dogs not collected within 7 days of the stated departure date/time if there is no communication from the owner or guardian and if all efforts to contact the owner and emergency contact fail. Any dog which is not collected on the specified departure date may be temporarily housed in a different location and further fees will be levied.
15. Any possessions left during the dog’s stay will be at the risk of the owner and Go Walkies Bolton is not liable for any damage/loss of the possessions during time at Go Walkies Bolton
16. Go Walkies accept payment via Cash or Bank Transfer only. No other forms of payment will be accepted.
17. The owner consents to Go Walkies Bolton using photos taken of their dog while at Go Walkies Bolton to be used on their websites & social media platforms for advertising purposes.
